Women's Ministry 

LORD'S LADIES
 The Gateway Christian Church Lord’s Ladies is a body of believers who meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Gateway Church Chapel from September through May of each year.

 Our purpose is to uplift, encourage and support the members of Gateway and its community.  We believe what the Bible teaches and seek to live it in our individual lives. 

This women’s ministry began in 1977 when several Gateway women attended a women’s retreat – the subject of the retreat  being ‘Lord’s Ladies’.   The retreat came home to Mount Sterling where, ever since, the Lord’s Ladies have been an integral part of the church.

Various ministries of the Lord’s Ladies include:

  • providing birthday gifts to local nursing home tenants

  • participating in Operation Christmas Child

  • providing financial assistance to needy families, to mission fields and/or whenever any benevolent or other need arises.

Present officers include: 
Ashley Osbourne – president
Diane Williams – vice president
Donna Lindon – secretary
Jana Elliott – treasurer.   

The Lord’s Ladies is supported by the church budget and also has an annual chili luncheon and auction which supplies a large portion of funds used for various ministries.  Everyone is welcome to participate in our monthly meetings for lots of Christian fellowship.
