Adult Basketball Rules
Our basketball league is first and foremost a Christ centered league.  We should include Christian thought, behavior and praise to God through this league.   A devotional and prayer will be given to those who participate in this league.

The registration fee is $300 per team, which must be turned in by Tuesday March 11th, 2008.  All games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday unless we have a gym conflict.  Games will start at 6:15 PM and thereafter every hour.  The league will start Tuesday, March 11th, 2008. 

     
KHSAA rules will be followed with these exceptions:
1.   Two full time-outs and one 30 second time-out per game.  One additional full time-out will be given for each overtime period.
2.   Two 20-minute running halves.
3.   The clock will stop the last two minutes with the clock stopping on each whistle.
4.   Each over-time will be two minutes with the clock stopping on each whistle.
5.   Three minutes between halves.
6.   A team must have four players to begin a game.  If not the game will be a forfeit.

Technical Fouls will be awarded to a player for conduct-related actions or cursing.  Should a player receive a conduct-related technical foul, he will be ejected from the game and also sit out the next game.  Should any player get two conduct-related technical during the season, he will be suspended from the league for the rest of the season and possible additional time as determined by the Activity Committee.
